In this message Pastor Jim considers the ways in which we avoid situations, people and deep controversies by examining the story in John 4:1-30. What emerges is a real life illustration of the way in which Jesus depended on God's Spirit to interact with the woman at the well. Showing us how the love of God drew the woman into a conversation and how Jesus spoke words of truth and love into her lonely life situation. The same abiding Holy Spirit lives in us so we can embody the love of God for people on the outside, too. Just like Jesus did.

In this message Min. Leslie preaches on Luke 4:14-21 and how we as a church are to carry on the mission of Jesus. As individuals and as the body of Christ we are called to reach out into our neighborhood and places of need with the love of God. And for our church in particular, this is a year to be seeking the guidance of the Lord as we look ahead to a time of transition when our new building is being constructed. Over the coming weeks, consider what God is calling you and the church to do as part of God's mission in the world. This is the acceptable year of the Lord.

In this new year's message Pastor Lynn walks us through a series of Scripture passages which proclaim the essential message of love and truth as being necessary for living with biblical faith. There is no better time to return to these verses than at the start of a new calendar year and as we face troubles and uncertainties. God is always faithful and God's Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Ps 119:105).

In this first message of the new year, Pastor Jim reflects on the story of the Magi in Matthew 2:1-12 and how it has something to say about the perspective from which we view the Christmas story. How God did something peculiar by speaking through a natural phenomenon of a star in the sky. Which was an astronmical wonder for the Magi but something disturbing for the people of Jerusalem. A natural wonder which let the Magi to the greatest wonder of all: King Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us.
About Us
We are a community of faith that embraces and reflects the rich diversity of culture, language, race, ethnicity, and nationality which characterize our city and our world. We believe these differences should not divide, but rather, enrich our lives when we are united in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We hold to the historic Christian faith which remains not only viable but vibrant in the twenty-first century! We believe the love, purpose, and salvation of God are fully revealed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and we believe the Holy Spirit continues to transform lives today by empowering us to love and serve God and our neighbors throughout our journey in life.
We are a community of faith, hope and love that values each individual and responds with compassion to the needs of the world. We are a place where people are encouraged to grow and empowered to serve – in both practical ways that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and in our larger community.
